Jacqueline West-Spencer has been employed as govt director of Prince George’s County’s Redevelopment Authority, County Govt Angela Alsobrooks introduced Friday.

West-Spencer, who has greater than 25 years of mixed expertise in actual property growth, finance, and portfolio administration, is presently the regional vice chairman of actual property growth within the mid-Atlantic area for The Neighborhood Builders.

She is going to formally take over as govt director of the authority on Oct. 23.

“As Prince George’s County advances its imaginative and prescient to drive financial alternative and funding whereas creating equitable options in order that no group is left behind, the Redevelopment Authority is uniquely and strategically positioned to be a significant contributor to the transformation,” West-Spencer stated. “I’m proud to function govt director below the management of County Govt Angela Alsobrooks and use my expertise to advance these efforts and contribute to the way forward for the county.”

West-Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Africana Research from Binghamton College, State College of New York, and a Grasp of Science in City Coverage Evaluation and Administration from The New Faculty for Social Analysis in New York.
